SCIP08 Volunteer Opportunity!

Volunteerism is key to the success of SCIP's Annual Conference, and as we prepare to converge on San Diego in April, the work developing an onsite team is underway. Support will come from dedicated members of SCIP such as you to ensure a great experience for everyone.

SCIP is now accepting nominations for the 2008 annual conference volunteer positions. The main conference dates are April 16 & 17 with pre-conference workshops on April 14 & 15. This year, the conference will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, California.

Here are just a few of the reasons people volunteer to help at the SCIP annual conference:

Sean Morris shared that his most memorable experience was: “The opportunity to meet the speakers, hear their presentations and afterwards ask them candid questions. Another great experience is the chance you get to know the other SCIP volunteers and employees. The entire conference is one excellent opportunity to network.”

Ayman El-Ghazali now has “several contacts from around the world that I can depend on for information and possibly even a job/career in the near future. Plus the learning aspects give me an edge in the field of CI.”

Vidhi Mago volunteered her time to “learn more about the industry of C.I., who the major players are, what the future holds for the industry in general (what new processes are being identified) and what I could do to make myself more marketable for a career.” Vidhi became a CI Analyst for Bank of America Card Services.
